I am Benedikt Endres and I come from a village in south-western Germany. I dedicate a severe part my life to arts, photography, design and theatre.

What does the name „Renntier“ stand for? Where does it come from? Most of my work, which I have yet published on the internet, was published under the pseudonym „renntier“. Literally translated does it mean something like a „running animal“, I derived it from the german word for „reindeer“ („Rentier“), so putting it in the context, „renntier“ means a „running deer“. One might now think, how I came to this name. Well, the answer is simply a late-night talk in a discord voice-chat. Since then „renntier“ has come to be my main internet presence.

But what is all that effort here about? At this stage it is just a test to furtherly develop my webdesign skills and to try out some stuff, e.g. publishing designs, photos and other stuff I do on a website.

Am I up to do more? Maybe. If all this photography and design stuff develops as some sort of a business model, or if I use this website to let others anticipate my creative development as well as the work I might do for university at some point, it shall be like that. I am open for it, but also just need to wait and and see how things develop.
